JIM SIEGRIST

 

Jim Siegrist is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with a very diverse background. His 28-year career spans multiple industries, ranging from investment banking (mergers & acquisitions and leveraged finance), management consulting, business development, and customer acquisition, to leading a celebrity-backed global consumer products company as CEO.

 

Jim's broad experience has enabled him to see many businesses from different seats at the table, providing him with a unique perspective that he employs on each client engagement. Jim intimately understands the perspective of various stakeholders in a company, from investors, lenders, and board members, to key team members within an organization.

Most recently, Jim served as CEO of Global Lifestyle, Inc., the owner of the ROC brand of audio products with global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Jim oversaw all facets of the company's operations and led the re-launch of the brand and the go-to-market strategy for several new product lines. Jim helped to secure global distribution with key retailers, including Amazon and Alibaba, on three continents.

Prior to forming Contineo, Jim was the Global Head of Business Development for Cydcor, the largest provider of outsourced face-to-face sales services in North America.  Jim was responsible for identifying new business opportunities globally, developing marketing initiatives and enhancing the management of Cydcor’s existing client accounts through market research, financial feasibility studies,  and capacity utilization.  During his time at Cydcor, Jim worked on customer acquisition campaigns with Fortune 500 companies in the telecom, cable, satellite TV and energy industries, in addition to working with a variety of emerging growth companies in technology, marketing, and financial services, among other industries.

Prior to joining Cydcor, Jim spent the majority of his career as an investment banker with GE Capital and Wall Street firms BT Alex. Brown and Deutsche Bank, where he structured and financed leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations for top tier private equity firms with aggregate transaction value of more than $5 billion. Prior to joining Cydcor in 2008, Jim served as its investment banker when he was a principal at a Los Angeles-based, investment banking firm where he was responsible for business development and deal execution for mid-market merger and acquisition transactions.

Jim earned his B.S. in Finance with distinction from Babson College, and his M.B.A. in Finance from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.  He is an active fund raiser for Operation Smile and has volunteered on a medical mission for them in Chiapas, Mexico.
